IP6
AOR’s IP6 is made up of inositol hexaphosphate, also known as calcium phytate, and vitamin C. Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6), is a vitamin-like substance found in humans, animals, and many plants, especially cereals, nuts, and legumes. It is a natural solution for those who are concerned about abnormal and unhealthy cell growth.
IP6 fights abnormal and unhealthy cell growth in several ways. It is an antioxidant, preventing free radicals from damaging DNA. It boosts the immune system and increases the activity of immune cells that hunt down and destroys abnormal cells. IP6 acts as a cellular signal that controls the rate of cell division, preventing cells from multiplying out of control. It also regulates gene expression, preventing certain genes from getting turned on.
IP6 is naturally found within the fibre of most cereal grains and seeds, however its absorption from food sources is not always good because it is tightly bound to other elements within the fibre. Because of this, IP6 should ideally be consumed from supplemental sources to be therapeutically effective. IP6 is also a well known inhibitor of iron absorption and maybe useful for iron overload diseases.
