Botanical Beverage TIncture

Traditionally used in herbal medicine as an alterative to help remove accumulated waste products via the kidneys, skin, and mucus membranes; as a diuretic; to induce sweating (diaphoretic); and to help alleviate the pain associated with rheumatism.
Suggested Use / Directions:
Take 1.5 tablespoons (22.5 ml) daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Optional: To reduce the alcohol content, add 6 ounces of boiling water and let sit for 5 minutes.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:

Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes; to exclude a diagnosis of prostate cancer; if you are taking blood thinners; if you have gall bladder disease and/or intestinal obstruction; if you are taking cardia glycosides such as digitalis/digoxin. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family or of the Apiaceae family/Umbelliferae (e.g. celery, carrot, parsley, etc.); if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, or edema (swelling of hands, face, and feet); if you are taking products containing diuretics; or if you have acute stomach irritation, inflammation, and stomach or duodenal ulcers. Stop using and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat, and/or difficulty breathing.

Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience drowsiness, headaches, or laxative effect. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.

Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
