Digestive Enzymes is a blend of enzymes, present in both the stomach and the small intestine, aimed at facilitating digestion. It contains pancreatin, a mix of pancreatic enzymes including protease for the hydrolysis of proteins, amylase for the degradation of starches, and lipase for the digestion of fats. Digestive Enzymes also comprises ox bile salts to aid in gut-fat absorption, and papain, a plant-derived proteolytic enzyme. Furthermore, betaine hydrochloride is found in this supplement; it is a source of hydrochloric acid, which acts in the gastrointestinal tract to activate pepsin, for the secretion of gastric acid.
Suggested Use / Directions:

Suggested Use: Adults 18+: Take 1–3 capsules daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Take with or immediately before a meal/food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Use the smallest effective dose which controls symptoms.
