Vitamin C Advanced Ascorbates

A Vitamin C formula that includes eight different minerals to which ascobate is bound, and other ingredients such as biofavonoids, polyphenols such as grapeseed extract, resveratrol, quercetin, rutin, bromelain, papain, and sea buckthorn. A unique anti oxidant formula to maintain immune function. 
Adults: Take 1 teaspoon (5 g) into 4 oz. (120 ml) juice or water (dilute to taste). Let stand for 2 minutes and stir well. Take once a day with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Adjust the amount of water or juice used according to your own taste. If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients
Natural orange flavour, Stevia rebaudiana leaf extract, sodium bicarbonate, ᴅʟ‑malic acid, and silicon dioxide.
Cautions and Warnings
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have hypertension; if you have an iron deficiency; if you are taking blood thinners; use if you have a history of kidney stones. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, are taking anticoagulant agents, anti-inflammatory agents or other enzyme products, are having surgery. If taking any other medications or natural health products, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use (and consult a health care practitioner). If you have a liver disorder, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner.

Contra-Indications
Do not use if pregnant, breastfeeding or taking blood thinning medication, antibiotics, or sedatives.

Known Adverse Reactions
Discontinue use if signs of allergy or symptoms of gastrointestinal distress occur. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an allergy to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato). Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported (in Canada and internationally).
