Alpha lipoic acid is a compound involved in eneergy metabolism, and functions with the mitochondria as an antio-oxidant. It has been studied for its use in diabetic neuropathy, blood pressure, and blood sugar. The R+ enantiomer appears to increase bioavailability.
Adults: Take 1 capsule three times daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 3 months.
