NAD+ (Nicotinamide Riboside)

Vitazan's NAD+ contains 250 mg of nicotinamide riboside (NR). NR is a clinically proven to increase blood nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) levels, to support cellular health and energy, and healthy ageing. Source of vitamin B3 which supports biological functions which play a key role in the maintenance of good health by maintaining blood NAD+ levels. NAD+ is a metabolic redox coenzyme that facilitates an array of enzymatic reactions such as gene expression and DNA repair. The aging process naturally depletes NAD+ levels in the body and is associated with oxidative stress, cognitive impairment, reduced energy production, and inflammation. Administering one of the key active precursors to NAD+ in the form of NR can possibly protect against age-associated diseases by increasing NAD+ levels. Clinical trials have begun to investigate the association between NR supplementation and muscle composition, inflammation, and Parkinson’s disease.
