Non-medicinal Ingredients:

Vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water), microcrystalline cellulose, gum arabic, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), silica.

Recommended Use:

For the reduction of hot flashes, night sweats and other symptoms of menopause.

Contraindications:

Consult a health care professional if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care professional prior to use if you are taking hormone-containing medications such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy, if you are breastfeeding, or if you have a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble.

Do not use if you have a history of hormone dependent cancers.

Keep out of reach of children.

Drug Interactions:

Do not use if you are using anticoagulant/antiplatelet medications (warfarin; Ticlid).13 As black cohosh may interact with CYP2E1 and CYP2D6 substrates, practitioners should be aware of potential drug interactions.

The use of vitex is contraindicated in conjunction with bromocriptine, metaclopramide, dopamine agonists and antipsychotic drugs.
