Melatonin is a hormone which is naturally secreted by the body, that helps regulate our inherent circadian rhythm (our sleep-wake cycle). As we age, our natural production of melatonin begins to decrease, often leading to the development of sleep issues. Supplementing with a high-quality melatonin can help improve sleep time/quality, diminish general fatigue and improve overall health.

Trophic’s high-potency Melatonin Spray is an effective and safe natural approach to rebalancing the circadian rhythm, increasing sleep time and promoting health. Melatonin has also shown itself to be extremely effective at preventing and/or reducing the symptoms of jet lag in people travelling by plane easterly across two or more time zones.

Our Melatonin Spray contains a synergistic blend of melatonin, 5-HTP, lemon balm and cherry. 5-HTP is a natural serotonin precursor which helps restore optimal serotonin levels and as a result helps improve mood as well as promote regular restful sleep. Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a member of the mint family and is considered a potent calming herb. It has a long history in traditional herbal medicine to help promote sleep, reduce stress and regulate mood. Antioxidant-rich cherries contain natural polyphenolic compounds, and as a result, provide powerful sleep-enhancing properties, as well as promote regular moods.

Take 3 sprays orally, once a day or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner. Shake well before use. For Jetlag: Take at bedtime, while travelling, and at destination until adapted to the new daily pattern. For occasional short-term use. For sleep restriction/altered sleep schedule; delayed sleep phase disorder; sleep-wake cycle: Take at or before bedtime. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: purified water, concentrated apple juice, natural vegetable glycerin (from renewable palm oil), concentrated cherry juice, natural cherry flavour, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, citric acid and purified stevia extract.

Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. If you are taking one of the following medications, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or phychotropic medications, or steroids. If you have one of the following conditions, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: asthma, cardiovascular disease,chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorders. Sleep restriction/altered sleep schedule; delayed sleep phase disorder; sleep-wake cycle: If symptoms persist continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia), consult a health care practitioner. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product. Do not use if you have scleroderma. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or cramping) have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use. Rare allergic reactions have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use.
