Melatonin B6 Spray

Melatonin B6 Spray is formulated to promote natural sleep. Decreased melatonin production and sleep issues can develop with aging and lifestyle factors (artificial light, shift work, late night/altered sleep schedules, and exposure to electrosmog including laptops, television, and computers). Taking melatonin helps regulate sleep-wake cycles, resets circadian rhythms, increases REM and total sleep time, and improve overall sleep quality. When combined with vitamin B6, melatonin biosynthesis, secretion and absorption is enhanced. Melatonin is used to support difficulty falling asleep (delay sleep phase syndrome), waking in the night, jet lag, increasing total sleep time (shift work, jet lag, late night/altered sleep schedule). Research shows that melatonin benefits goes beyond improving overall quality of sleep. Known at one of the bodys most efficient free-radical scavengers, melatonin has powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immune properties for brain, neurological, heart, and cancer protection.
Recommended dose (adults): 1 - 10 sprays once per day. Duration of use: Sleep restriction/altered sleep schedule and sleep-wake cycle: For use beyond 4 weeks, consult a health care practitioner. For jet lag, take once a day at bedtime after darkness has fallen, while travelling, and at destination until adaptation to the new daily pattern. For sleep restriction/altered sleep schedule; delayed sleep phase disorder or sleep-wake cycle take once a day, at or before bedtime. Medicinal ingredients (per each spray): Melatonin (N-Acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) 1 mg Vitamin B 6 (Pyridoxine hydrochloride) 1 mg Non-medicinal ingredients: Filtered water, glycerin, alcohol, stevia extract, mint flavour, potassium sorbate.
Caution/warnings: Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. If you are taking one of the following medications, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or psychotropic medications, or steroids. If you have one of the following conditions, consult a health care practitioner prior to use: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycaemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorders. For sleep restriction/altered sleep schedule; delayed sleep phase disorder; sleep-wake cycle: If symptoms persist continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia), consult your health care practitioner. Contraindications: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product. Known adverse reactions: Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or cramping) or rare allergic reactions have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use.
