Melatonin-10 is a high dose (10mg/capsule) melatonin supplement focusing on adjunct cancer treatment with radiation and chemotherapy via its antioxidant property and hormone balancing mechanisms in the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal (HPO) axis.

• Melatonin is a balancer and stabilizer in all stages of solid tumors.
  
• Increases effectiveness of radiotherapy/chemotherapy and reduces myelosuppression (bone marrow damage) and thrombocytopenia.
  
• Improves survival time as a sole agent in terminal cancer, as well as response rate to conventional therapy in all hormone sensitive cancers.
  
• Decreases production of estrogen receptors in breast cells, and is a primary selective ER modulator via negative feedback to the HPO axis, and therefore synergistic with Tamoxifen.

Recommended Dose
Adults - for insomnia, take 1 capsule before bed.
For cancer - take 2-4 capsules before bed. (Consult with health care practitioner before taking melatonin in cancer).

Cautions and Warnings
Avoid melatonin for patients with disseminated cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. It may be used short-term during chemo or radiation, but only as prescribed by a physician experienced in integrative oncology. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking one of the following medications: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or psychotropic medications, or steroids; or if you have one of the following conditions: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorders. If symptoms persist continuously for more than 4 weeks, consult your health care practitioner. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or cramping) and rare allergic reactions have been known to occur in which case, discontinue use.
