MediBulk contains oat fiber, inulin, pectin, and prune powder – sources of soluble and insoluble fiber. Indications for supplementing with MediBulk include occasional constipation or diarrhea, the need for colon detoxification (preventing reabsorption of toxins from the intestines), soothing of hemorrhoids, appetite control, and support of colon health. The fiber in MediBulk enhances production of short-chain fatty acids to promote a healthy GI tract –particularly the colon.

Recommended Dose:

Mix 1 scoop of powder in 8 oz. (1 cup/250  mL) of water or juice and drink 1 to 2 times per day in divided doses. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications of natural health products since the absorption of these products may be delayed.

If symptoms persist or worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within seven days, consult a health-care practitioner. If you are taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement, consult a health-care practitioner prior to use (e.g. opioids, loperamide). If you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or have failed to defecate following the use of a laxative product, consult a health-care practitioner prior to use. If you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever, consult a health-care practitioner prior to use. May cause GI symptoms such as flatulence, cramps, gas and diarrhoea.
