Flax Oil NON-GMO

Flora's fresh-pressed, unrefined, Organic Flax seed oil is an excellent source of omega-3 Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA). ALA, along with Linoleic Acid (omega-6), is one of the fatty acids essential for health. They are necessary for the normal functioning of every single cell, tissue, gland and organ in the body. Yet, due to overprocessing and other factors, omega-3 is so critically lacking from the modern diet that up to 95% of the population is affected by an omega-3 deficiency. Often overshadowed by its long chain metabolites, DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) and EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid), ALA is actually the only omega-3 that is considered essential for health and has its own unique benefi ts. Flax oil is naturally one of the richest sources of ALA.

Serving Size: 10 ml of flax oil, providing 80 calories and 9 g of fat (5 g omega-3, 1 g omega-6, 2 g omega-9, 1 g saturated fat).

Do not heat Flax Oil. For optimal freshness, keep refrigerated and consume within 8 weeks of opening. Can be frozen to prolong shelf life. Globules may appear at low temperatures. Recyclable amber glass bottle. Nitrogen flushed to maintain product integrity.
