Ultra Preventive® X is Douglas Laboratories’ signature formula and the most comprehensive multivitamin and mineral supplement, with organic fruits, vegetables and phytonutrients. Recommended Dose
Adults: Take 4 tablets 2 times daily with meals containing oil, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Consult your healthcare practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.
Cautions and Warnings
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking prescription medication, as citrus bioflavonoids may alter the effectiveness of these medications. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking a blood thinner, anti-inflammatory or antibiotic, or are having surgery. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have a gastrointestinal lesion/ ulcer, peptic ulcer, excess stomach acid, iron deficiency, diabetes, kidney stones, an allergy to latex or fruits, a kidney or liver disorder, or have been diagnosed with estrogen-dependent cancer. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness and/or confusion. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes, stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner.
Contra-Indications
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin, or allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.
Known Adverse Reactions
Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Hypersensitivity can occur, in which case discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported. People sensitive to nicotinic acid may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient.
Supplement Facts
Take 4 Tablets Once Per Day
Adults take 8 tablets daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. This product is best taken with meals in divided doses, such as 4 tablets with 2 largest meals of the day
