Carnosine-500 is a stand-alone carnosine formulation. Carnosine is a dipeptide (a combination of two amino acids) found in human tissues that has a wide range of health benefits. It is found naturally in small amounts in animal meats. It is a powerful antioxidant and inhibits protein glycation; therefore addressing two of the most important drivers behind the aging process.

Carnosine protects cells and helps maintain healthy cellular function by getting rid of damaged proteins that make cells old and dysfunctional. Studies in human subjects have also found carnosine to enhance exercise performance and tissue repair due to its effects on cellular rejuvenation and protein maintenance. A unique mechanism of carnosine is that it regulates acidity and alkalinity inside the cell, optimizing the cellular environment.
