Carni-Sorb delivers a superior quality, bioavailable source of Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALC). As an ester derivative of L-Carnitine, ALC readily crosses the blood-brain barrier exerting powerful antioxidant and neuroprotective effects. ALC also facilitates the oxidative protection in skeletal and cardiac muscle tissue by enhancing ATP production from fatty acid metabolism. Cautions and Warnings
Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (transient nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea) have been reported. Low incidences of seizures have been reported with oral doses in individuals with or without pre-existing seizure disorders. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have cystinuria, are taking nitroglycerin, and/or are taking antibiotics. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have liver or kidney disease and/or if you have been instructed to follow a low protein diet.

Contra-Indications
Do not use if you have primary systemic L-carnitine deficiency or secondary L-carnitine deficiency. Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
