AFA-Gen has naturally occurring niacin for the maintenance of good health, and to help the body metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins. AFA-Gen is also a source of 27 naturally occurring essential minerals, 12 vitamins, 10 essential amino acids and 32 fatty acids, enzymes and chlorophyll. Due to the algaes nutritious soft cell wall, these nutrients are readily available to the body. It is not irradiated and does not use any GMO's. The medicinal ingredient, Aphanizomenon flos-aquae is certified kosher and certified organic.

Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, is a water-soluble vitamin and is necessary to transform food into energy. Niacin is converted to nicotinamide and then to NAD and NADP in vivo. Niacin is a precursor to NADH, NAD, NAD+, NADP and NADPH, which play essential metabolic roles in living cells.

Recommended Dosage
Adults:Two capsules, two times daily away from meals.
Children under 12:One capsule, one to two times daily away from meals.
